2025 Online Store tutorial
By FindThatProduct Blog
Welcome to the FindThatProduct Blog, where you will discover how to make an online store step by step.
The first step is to register at findthatproduct and set it in the language you want to use.
Our recommendation is to unlock all products and stats with the pro version, which costs only $9.99 for a limited time only. This way you will know for a ridiculous price which products are generating the most money.
We are going to select a product that we like to sell, that we think that we can generate sales.Think that we are going to use tiktok to expand the store, then ads, so select a product that you think you can generate a lot of money and you will know how to sell it.
In this step you do not have to do anything more than choose a product, you do not need to press any button, just choose product or niche.
We go to the product we have chosen and click “start selling” and we will click on artificial intelligence statistics to see in which countries to sell the product, what is your target audience and more relevant information to make your sales explode.
We log in on the page that opens. Enter your email address and click “start free trial”.
This screen will appear, click “Skip all” and then select your country.
Click “Select a plan” (at the bottom right) and then “Select Basic”, it will only cost us 1€. This will allow us to start our online store, so we will have to subscribe.
We go to “configuration”, at the bottom of our menu.
Already in the menu we are going to click on general and we are going to change the name of the store. Where it says “My store” we put the name we want our store to have.
Let’s focus on our product/sector. Find a suitable name.
What is a web without a URL?
We go to configuration and click on “domains” or “domains”, click on “buy new domain” or “buy new domain” and buy the name of the web we had in mind. If we see that the .com is occupied we can look for another one or use for example a “.es”.
The domain is essential and luckily very cheap, it will cost us about 10-20€ per year.
The domain is the name of the web itself, for example “www.findthatproduct.net”.
After buying it, we connect it.
We go to the settings and click on “applications and sales channels”. We will click on “Shopify app store”.
We look for “Dsers” and install it. It appears with the icon in orange.
We select the free plan, go to the “search product” section and in the search engine we add the link of the product we want to sell.
This link can be found in the “View on aliexpress” button that appears on the product you have chosen from findthatproduct.net.
We copy the Aliexpress link and paste it.
Then, we add that product to the store and link it.
We will need to link our AliExpress to Shopify within the Dsers app itself.
Now, we go to canva.com or canva.es, log in and select “logo”.
We are going to create a custom logo according to our store, name and product.
You don’t need to be design experts, it’s intuitive, fast and free.
We go back to our online store and click “customize” in the Online Store section when we have our logo done.
We go to theme settings on the left side, and upload the logo we have created in the “Logo” section and in the “Favicon” section.
We begin to customize the store to our liking following the “sections”.
The online store is separated in “head” or “header”, which is the upper part of the web in which we can add an advertisement such as “Free shipping to Spain”. Also located in the header is the bar where the logo and the menu are positioned, as well as the abandoned cart.
The second part of the website is the template, this is where we talk about our brand and product. Here we convince the customer of what our product is capable of solving and we give him to understand why he needs it. In this part we have to transmit confidence, professionalism and solve the possible doubts that a person may have about your store/product.
The third part is the “footer” or “footer” here is usually already predetermined by Shopify. It includes data such as shipping or privacy policies, contact and payment methods (which we will talk about in the next step).
Within the store settings we will see the Apps or applications section. When we click on it we will see a button that says “Shopify app store”.
There we will find different applications, some paid and some free, that we will use in our online store.
To avoid it looking simple and increase the conversion rate, some stores use plugins like countdowns, (the offer ends in…), WhatsApp button for customer service or customer service button directly in online store, apps for reviews and many more options.
This section is subjective and depends on our tastes and strategies that we want to include.
